SMART IT NETWORKS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTIONS

Our unique project has helped the client save money and time by successfully combining the internal and external telecommunication needs into one integrated smart system. Instead of an analogue intercom, we proposed to install individual routers and cordless voip-phones for each apartment. Through this set up, each apartment was connected to the facilities of the resort, such as the security, reception, concierge, house-keeping, restaurant and spa club, as well as accommodating national and international calls.

A new and revolutionary system to receive and make calls: the entire building has been assigned with national and multi-national landline numbers. An Interactive Voice Response answers to all calls and diverts the call to the relevant unit through an extension number. In this building where there are multi-national residents, they can receive calls for free from their home country. The caller abroad only pays a local rate as they call their country’s virtual landline number assigned to the building. The home-owner can also make outside calls by purchasing prepaid minutes online for cheap international calls.

With this new system, the management engaged only one contract with the internet service provider on behalf of all the 96 homeowners and distributed the hi-speed internet to the individual router of each apartment in the condominium. As a result, the homeowners saved significant amounts on their monthly internet bills, and were able to access to a much higher connection speed. The internet fee of the building is divided to the number of apartments and simply built into the HOA fees with a minor adjustment.
